This 4-bedroom vacation rental in the historic “Haus zur Rose” is located between Lake Constance, St. Gallen, and Appenzell. With a beautiful view of the village of Speicher and the expansive Appenzell region, the vacation rental offers plenty of space for up to 5 people.

Built in 1811, “Haus zur Rose” was completely renovated in 2015–2016 and offers a vacation apartment (95 m²) with a fully equipped, modern kitchen (featuring an induction cooktop, range hood, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, and a washer-dryer combo), 3 bedrooms (1 double bed, two single beds, and a comfortable sofa bed), 1 bathroom with shower/toilet, 1 living room (with a sofa, large dining table, and TV), and 1 reading/study room (featuring a beautiful antique secretary desk and games for our younger guests).

The garden seating area (shared use) is equipped with an outdoor kitchen, seating and lounging furniture, a fountain, a trampoline, and a swing—a place to relax and soak up the sun!

The surrounding area is perfect for walks and hikes. Cultural highlights are easily accessible, and culinary delights are just a short distance away.

The tram (Appenzeller Bahn) runs every 15–30 minutes to St. Gallen. The ride to St. Gallen station takes just under 20 minutes. By car, you can reach the center of St. Gallen or the highway in 10 minutes.
